Located in the heart of southern Oregon, Morrison’s Rogue Wilderness Adventures and Lodge Has had a presence on the Rogue river since 1946. Whether it be introducing guests to whitewater rafting, Hiking the Rogue River trail, fishing for salmon and steelhead, staying amongst the trees along the rogue river in our cabins, enjoying a gourmet dinner on our riverside deck, or providing transportation for your Rogue River adventures, we are here to give our all to helping people rediscover their soul and escaping the ordinary.

Morrison’s is a seasonal business, with an on season where we are open for guests to come and join us at our lodge and take advantage of our services and adventures from (Mid-May – October) and off-season from (November through-mid May) that we are not open to the public and only have a few select staff members that work during the off-season to make reservations and help us get ready for the upcoming season. Normal daily operations with guests will cease during the off-season. During this time, all interactions with guests are over the phone or through email.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team for a Sales/Front Desk representative position. This seasonal position will start in March and continue through October. Must possess exceptional communication and relationship skills over the phone, in person, and in writing. Organization, time management, and leadership skills are a must-have.
This position is responsible for booking guests for all the services we have to offer. This includes reservations for rafting, hiking, and fishing adventures, raft rentals, lodging, dinner reservations, airport, vehicle, and complimentary shuttle services. From mid-May until the end of October, we are open for daily operations as guests are taking advantage of our services. During our open-for-business season, this position is scheduled 2 nights a week 3 pm-10:30 pm. And 3 shifts 12 pm-8:30 pm During this time, duties include operating all front desk functions, answering the phones, and booking our guests on their perfect adventure or one of our other services. Duties will also include guest check-ins and guest checking out and all operations and procedural aspects of the front desk office. During our off-season (November – April) we book 75% of our services over the phone or online using one of our two reservation systems. We also update or change our policies and procedures for the upcoming season. During the months of March-April, this position is scheduled for 9 am-5 pm four to five days a week and includes duties of answering phone calls, booking guests on all our adventures and services as well as maintaining all email correspondence, weekly sales duties, and updating reports.
This position is expected to provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Must have a passion for genuine hospitality and a sincere desire to create memorable experiences.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of sales experience
Minimum of 1-year hotel/lodging experience
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory/ experience
Attentive to detail and follow-through
Willing to work long periods while standingMust be able to lift at least 25 lbs
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including
late evenings, early mornings, weekends and some holidays
Schedules vary based on business needs and your performance.
Exceptional customer service skills are required with an ability to handle oneself under pressure
A professional appearance and good personal hygiene must be maintained at all times
Excellent computer skills with comprehensive knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of Rafting or Lodging software
Duties:
Sales of Booking guests on their perfect adventure and/or lodging accommodations all through phone, Emails, and in person
Answering phones, transferring accordingly and emailing messages when applicable
Answering general inquiry questions about us and the surrounding areas of interest and assisting walk-in guests
Checking in/checking out guests for lodging, rentals, and our rafting adventures
Assisting office team members
Assisting management with all requested duties
Retail sales/ opening and closing of cash drawer daily
Light cleaning and restocking
Completing daily checklist while multi-tasking other responsibilities and priorities
Processing payments
Updating forms and documents need to operate services for other departments
Oversee the front desk associate staff
Review reservations for accuracy
Ensure daily tasks are complete
