Trip Cancellation, Travel Insurance, & Eligibility Requirements
Read our policies below to learn more about payments, cancellations, trip insurance, and our necessary requirements for guests to be able to participate in a Morrisons Rogue River rafting trip.
PAYMENTS: A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your reservation. Remaining balance is due 60 days from departure.
If we do not receive your payment by 4pm on the due date, we will charge the card we have on file. If the credit card we have on file has been compromised, please let us know as your reservation could be cancelled and all deposits could be forfeited.
CANCELLATIONS: Should you have to cancel your Rogue River Adventure with us or if situations make it impossible for us to perform the trip due to reasons beyond our control, all deposits are non-refundable. Final balance payments are also non-refundable. Alternate guests are welcome. All guests making reservations for travel are strongly encouraged to purchase Travel Insurance to protect their investment and ours.
On The Rogue River, trip capacity is strictly regulated by law, your reservation may mean we cannot sell space to others. Because of this, we do not offer refunds, for any reason including a pandemic; therefore, travel insurance is strongly recommended. It will reimburse you if you make a cancellation because of, but not limited to illness or injury before or during the trip, smoke, natural fire, flood, or other acts of nature. The only way to get a refund would be to file a claim through your purchased trip insurance carrier.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as it’s the only way to recover your costs if you need to cancel. Insurance may cover issues like injury, smoke, floods, or other natural disruptions. Most providers require you to purchase coverage within 21 days of your initial deposit.
If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send a replacement guest in your place.
We recommend Travel Insured International, which typically offers several plans priced around 7–10% of your trip cost. Children 17 and under qualify for reduced rates.
No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be offered—no exceptions

Rapids are classed on a scale from 1 to 6. The Wild and Scenic Rogue River includes rapids ranging from Class 1, 2, and 3, with two Class 4 rapids that you can easily navigate or walk around if preferred. However, the classes of rapids you will encounter will vary depending on your trip. The following explains each classification:
Class I (easy) – Moving water with small waves that can tug a boat. This is the calmest class, with minimal maneuvering required.
Class II (novice) – Easy rapids, with waves up to 3 ft tall that are easily seen, and wide channels. Some maneuvering required.
Class III (intermediate) – Offer plenty of excitement with waves up to 4 ft and narrow passages that send the boat shimmying and water gushing over its sides.
Class IV (advanced) – Long, difficult rapids, with turbulent water that requires precise maneuvering. Guaranteed to get your heart racing! There may be dangerous rocks or boiling eddies. Precise maneuvering required, and you should be accompanied by an experienced guide.
Class V (expert) – A constant adrenaline rush. Long and violent rapids that follow each other almost without interruption. Paddlers should have Class IV or better whitewater experience, and go with experienced guides who know the river.
Class VI (extreme) – Not commercially raftable. Considered “un-runnable” and have rarely been attempted due to their difficulty, unpredictability, and danger. This is the most dangerous class and should only be attempted by a team of experts.
