Our multi-day Rogue River rafting trips float through 40 miles of the Wild and Scenic Section of the Rogue River, a remarkable stretch of river featuring over 20 of Oregon’s finest whitewater rafting rapids (class II-IV). A trip down the Rogue River is a great way to spend a day! We offer two types of Rogue River rafting day trips: a family-friendly Oregon rafting float on the recreation stretch of the Rogue, and an exciting whitewater class IV stretch called Nugget Falls.
On our recreation stretch, lush forest, abundant wildlife, and historic mines dot the shore as you float through several class 2 whitewater rapids and one class 3 rapid. This stretch is offered as a half-day morning trip, half-day afternoon trip, or full-day Rogue River whitewater rafting trip. Perfect for family reunions, bachelor parties, friend trips, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our River Trips
Yes! Whether you’re joining us for a morning, afternoon, full day, or several days, we provide delicious meals either riverside (for multi-day trips) or at Morrisons Lodge (for day trips). Our menus change with the seasons but you can always plan on fresh, delicious food.
Our guided trips are beginner-friendly, but you will still need to have some physical eligibility criteria in order to have fun, including able to remain seated and balanced, able to navigate some shoreline terrain, and more. Check out our Essential Eligibility Requirements page to learn more.
<p style=“color: #000000;”>Each morning will begin with a hearty breakfast to give you stamina and energy for a fun day of rafting ahead. We’ll raft for a few hours each day, with time for stops for sightseeing, hiking, lunch, and more. At the end of the day, we’ll set up camp (or dock near a lodge if you choose the lodge rafting package) for an evening of camaraderie with your guides and fellow river trip friends. Expect to be unplugged and away from the tech world as you immerse yourself in the beautiful sights of the Rogue River!</p>
With several rapids on the Wild and Scenic stretch of the Rogue River, we recommend guests be at least six years old for both day and multi-day river trips.
All boaters need a permit to float the Wild and Scenic stretch of the Rogue River during the peak season of May-October. If you book with Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures, we take care of this for you!
<p style=”color: #000000;”>The Wild and Scenic Rogue River is one of the best places to fish for steelhead and salmon. If fishing is your main interest, we recommend booking a fishing-specific trip to make the most of your experience. We offer multi-day lodge fishing trips plus single day packages.</p>
