Wonderful Hiking/Rafting Adventure on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River

“Our hiking club spent 5 days hiking and rafting down the 42 miles of the ‘wild and scenic’ portion of the Rogue River from just below Merlin to just above Agness, Oregon. Bald eagles, herons and ospreys were in abundance and we even had a black bear and mink sighting along the River. The Morrison Lodge in Merlin did a great job of outfitting our trip and our 3 river guides, Tessa, Dan and Bob, were absolutely peerless! Knowledgeable, so helpful and safety conscious, these 3 were our essential hosts to experience what is literally another world.
